Navistar revenue dips 1.9% but loss narrows

Navistar International Corp. on Thursday reported that revenue fell 1.9% in the April quarter, even as cost-cutting initiatives and margin improvements helped the company narrow its loss. The Lisle, Ill.-based company had been struggling to leverage market-share gains from the red-hot demand for commercial trucks in North America.
