Many Mainers were without power -- but not initiative -- as tens of thousands of residents woke up Thursday to find the lights out. At one point, as many as 110,000 customers were without power on Thanksgiving morning, but by noon, Central Maine Power reported that 74,300 customers had no power, while Emera, the state's second-largest utility company, reported 4,900 customers without electricity.
