(Telecompaper) Adam Sawicki is to become the new CEO of T-Mobile Poland from June. Sawicki is currently director general and board chairman at Netia, the second biggest fixed operator in Poland. He will replace Zacharias Piperidis, board member for operations at the group OTE Greece, who had been interim CEO at T-Mobile Poland since 01 November 2014. According to Claudia Nemat, board member at Deutsche Telekom responsible for Europe and Technology, Sawicki's experience as CEO at GTS Central Europe supports the integration with GTS, which Deutsche Telelkom recently acquired, and his appointment fits into a key strategy element of Deutsche Telekom, namely Lead in Business.
