University of Michigan regents have approved a $38.5 million, 114,000-square-foot garage that will accommodate larger buses and allow the university to transport more students at the busiest times of the day, the Ann Arbor News reported. The number of buses and vehicles in the university’s fleet had grown by 45 percent and 140 percent, respectively, since the current facility was built in 1974.
