At the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery 12th Annual Meeting in San Francisco, Codman Neuro , a part of DePuy Synthes , itself part of J&J , has released a line of coils for treating aneurysms in the brain. The new coils feature a new detachment system for more consistent results and radiopaque markers on the delivery wire help visualize placement and delivery of the device.
