The Game Awards 2014 will debut on December 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the AXIS Theater in Planet Hollywood, with an advisory board comprised of several major gaming execs, including Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima, SCEA boss Shawn Layden and Xbox head Phil Spencer. "Built to honor every aspect of the world's most dynamic form of entertainment, The Game Awards 2014 will highlight the cultural significance of the $100B a year gaming industry with awards, world premieres, musical performances, and appearances by game developers, eSports players and online content creators," reads the PR.
