To benefit permitting authorities and installers, and ultimately energy consumers, IREC has released Model Inspection Checklist for Rooftop Photovoltaic Systems. For municipalities, checklist can serve as supplementary educational tool for new or experienced inspectors to ensure they are aware of code requirements that must be verified on site. Checklist can also help prepare installers for inspection in advance, reducing number of items that might need to be addressed afterward.
