With all of the nasty things that find their way into our water, treatment plant operators must be more vigilant than ever in their fight to keep the public safe. That’s why the industry is on a constant lookout for tools and methods that make screening these contaminants easier. With this in mind, Hach Company developed the TNT868 reagent and Micro Dist distillation sets for phenol detection. Scott Tucker, a product application manager with Hach, spoke to Oil and Gas Online about how the tool can cut the cost, time and labor needed to detect phenol and aid treatment plants in their constant battle with contamination.
