New electric car quick-charging station opens in Portland

The project by Portland General Electric features six charging stations, including four universal quick chargers that can recharge a typical electric vehicle in 30 minutes. Dubbed Electric Avenue, the charging facility is outside PGE's headquarters in the World Trade Center building, moved there from its previous location on the Portland State University campus.
