New owner for Buffalo Milk-Bone plant

Jelly-maker J.M. Smucker is spending $5.8 billion to buy Big Heart Pet Brands, which operates a Milk-Bone factory in Buffalo. According to a statement at the Big Heart website, the company entered into an agreement to be acquired by The J.M. Smucker Co.
