Nexans has been awarded a contract worth in excess of Euro 120 million by Scottish Hydro Electric (SHE) Transmission plc to supply and install a subsea power link to upgrade the electricity transmission network between the Kintyre peninsula and mainland coast in Southwest Scotland, linking the new Crossaig substation on the Kintyre peninsula to Hunterston on the Ayrshire coast.
