Next-generation LTE radios with VoLTE will reduce power consumption by 50%

ST-Ericsson released a white paper today detailing how VoLTE with next-generation LTE radios would result in lower power consumption over current VoLTE implementations. Through this paper, perhaps CDMA+LTE carriers can be convinced to move to VoLTE more quickly.
