EOS NickelAlloy HX heat- and corrosion-resistant nickel-chrome-iron-molybdenum alloy exhibits strength as well as resistance to oxidization, even at temperatures up to 1,200°C. Optimized for use in EOSINT M 280 metal system, material is usually processed with layer thickness of 20 µm. Parts built from this material can be subsequently heat-treated to modify its characteristics. Typical application areas include aerospace, heating elements in conveyor ovens, and industrial blast furnaces. This story is related to the following:High Temperature Alloys | Molybdenum Alloys |
