Nokia introduces mid-range Lumia 625 with LTE

(Telecompaper) Nokia has unveiled a new mid-range LTE smartphone, the Lumia 625. The Windows Phone will sell for a recommend price of EUR 220 before taxes and subsidies and is planned to launch in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America in Q3. It comes with a 4.7-inch LCD screen, Nokia's largest smartphone to date, and will be available in a range of colours with a selection of changeable shells. Nokia said it will also feature some of the same camera applications as its recently announced flagship device, the Lumia 1020, such as Nokia Smart Camera, which can remove unwanted objects from pictures, and Nokia Cinemagraph, which adds movement to photos. In addition to 8GB internal storage, the Lumia 625 comes with a microSD card slot supporting up 64GB of external storage. It runs a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 512 MB RAM and features a 5 megapixel camera and 2,000 mAh battery.
