When it comes to the origin of our American food supply and the importance of the agricultural industry, awareness by America’s youth is waning. The Texas 4-H Youth Development Program is a 7-year old initiative developed specifically to build and develop the next generation of advocates for the American agricultural industry using youth volunteers that come from farm and ranch backgrounds. The initiative is a part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services program. read more
