Non-payment of growers' wages: Sindh sugar production may be affected badly

Sugar production in Sindh might be affected badly as a huge amount of sugar growers' wages, amounting to Rs 500 million, were being held up by Sugar millers. Talking to Business Recorder on Monday, Sugar Growers Association of Pakistan's President Qurban Ali Shah, said: "Around Rs 500m are outstanding against sugar millers, forcing farmers to stop sugarcane farming for the next session because of shortage of resources."
