A kugel, or noodle pudding, from Harold's Kosher Market in Paramus, owned by Bob and Glenn Shorr, is a classic Hanukkah dish. Dan Rothman, regional chef for Whole Foods Market's Northeast region, grew up watching his parents and grandparents eating potato pancakes, jelly doughnuts and other fried foods during the eight days of Hanukkah.
