O2 Germany adds D-Link Smart Home kit to DSL plans

2015-08-31 15:06:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) O2 Germany DSL customers signing up for O2 DSL All-in M, L or XL tariffs with running time will receive a D-Link Smart Home HD Starter Kit on top from 1 September at no extra charge. The D-Link Smart Home HD Starter Kit includes a Smart Plug for connecting electronic devices to the power outlet, a WLAN motion sensor and a HD-camera for visual monitoring in HD quality. All components are connected through the home WiFi and can be operated from anywhere via the mydlink Home App for smartphones and tablets. This allows users to intelligently adjust several functions via the app, for example setting lights to turn on only when there is motion in the room, or automatically switching on the coffee maker in the morning. Customers signing up for an O2 DSL All-in S, as well as all existing customers, can buy the Starter Kit for EUR 159 at selected shops.
