ITN: The OECD Secretary General said the world must banish fossil fuel emissions "towards the second half of the century". "That means we need to start now," Angel Gurria added. Mr Gurria said it was an "intergenerational responsibility" that meant a "big, fat price" needed to be put on carbon. He said measures needed to be applied both to the developed and the developing world, adding that the "exemplary" work the UK had done in legislating for emissions targets needed to continue.
