Fiscal Times: With another massive drought in California as the backdrop, the Obama administration this week announced the creation of seven regional climate hubs to assist farmers and rural communities prepare for severe water shortages, invasive pests, floods and other disasters associated with climate change.
The hubs will serve a broad swath of the countrys rural regions including Iowa, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Colorado, Oklahoma, Oregon and New Mexico.
