Des Moines Register: Environmentalists applauded the Obama administrations move Friday requiring new power plants to cut carbon pollution, but some business groups warned the action could push consumer prices higher and make U.S. manufacturers less competitive. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposed the first standards that cut carbon pollution emissions from future coal- and natural gas-fired power plants.
