Officials say it may cost as much as $250,000 to clean up a Shiawassee County oil spill that left multiple dead geese and nearly 100 tons of polluted earth in its wake. A Michigan Department of Environmental Quality analyst said Wednesday, Dec. 9, as much as 1,000 gallons of used motor oil may have spilled into a county drain just west of the Shiawassee River.
