Friday's issue of the Puget Sound Business Journal was all about how Washington state's biotech industry falls behind California and Massachusetts when it comes to supporting innovative companies. Seattle biotech Omeros is a longstanding company that has made it through the biotech "valley of death" - the time during drug development but before a product hits the market - and recently had its first commercial launch .
