By utilizing OpenDaylight SDN Controller that programs SDN-enabled networks to become part of DoS/DDoS protection service itself, application lets operators provision DoS/DDoS protection service per virtual network segment or per customer. Resulting abstraction fosters provisioning, management, and monitoring of DoS protection as service within SDN ecosystem.
