On October 18, 2017, Tsubakimoto Chain held an opening ceremony for the new plant of Tsubakimoto Automotive Czech Republic s.r.o., a company established in July 2015. This plant, designed to manufacture automotive engine-use timing chain drive systems, is the 12th such facility to be operated by Tsubakimoto Chain worldwide, adding to the companys presence in Japan, the U.S.A., the U.K., Thailand, China, South Korea, and Mexico.
