To simplify OTDR testing, iOLM intelligent Optical Link Mapper includes iLOOP feature, which relies on loopback single-ended measurement method, allowing 2 fibers to be characterized through single acquisition. Feature performs automatic result-splitting, live from test site. Once measurement has been completed, iLOOP automatically creates 2 distinct fiber links, applies pass/fail thresholds, and generates individual iOLM and OTDR (.SOR) files with report for each single fiber.
