Outage sends Detroit students home early

Detroit's public schools were preparing to dismiss students early Tuesday after power was interrupted at the city's public buildings, a school official said. Power went out at government and other public buildings in Detroit at about 10:40 a.m., DTE Energy spokeswoman Randi Berris said.
