Outlook: Raymond James execs expect economic upturn, but it's not all good news

Top executives at Raymond James Financial Inc. have a generally favorable economic outlook, despite concerns about corporate earnings, consumer purchases and home sales. "We don't pretend to have a crystal ball which would enable us to time the market in the short run, but we do have confidence that the U.S. economy and Raymond James' business model will perform well over the long term," wrote Tom James , chairman, and Paul Reilly , CEO, in a May 13 letter to shareholders.
