Overflowing culvert closes NW Thompson in west hills

A culvert that carries Balch Creek under NW Thompson Road near NW Cornell Road in the west hills has overflowed, with has closed NW Thompson Road to through traffic between NW Cornell and NW 53rd Drive. Multnomah County crews are working to unblock the culvert.
