Overgrown and under-maintained, the north dam has long been on the radar at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, but -- fortunately, for the city -- the state agency has OK'd taking the long road to full-repair. With five areas of particular concern, "They say there's not an imminent danger of it collapsing or anything so they're willing to give us some time," Overton City Manager Charles Cunningham explained Wednesday.
