Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) may not be a new virus challenge for pork producers and swine veterinarians, but it remains a constant challenge. PCV2 ranks among the top three infectious agents in the swine industry, causing losses in non-vaccinated herds from $3 to $22 per pig. [1]
