Eight ports on PoE+ model can provide up to 30 W of power per port for devices like VoIP phones, wireless access points, and surveillance cameras. PoE+ model also includes 2 SFP ports for optical network uplink to additional units. With green Ethernet technology, switches detect length of connected network cable and adjust power consumption accordingly.
