PPG receives OK from Mexican authorities for $2.3B Comex acquisition

"We are pleased to have received all the necessary government approvals for the Comex acquisition and expect to close the transaction in the next several days," PPG Chairman and CEO Charles Bunch said in a statement. "We are excited to grow our business in Mexico, a vibrant country with an expanding economy.
