PPG to acquire Westmoreland Supply paint stores

PPG Industries today said it reached an agreement to buy Westmoreland Supply, an independent paint distributor with 12 stores that will further boost PPG's regional retail footprint. The stores -- 11 in Western Pennsylvania and one in West Virginia -- will be rebranded under the PPG Paints store name.
