Pacific Rim trade agreement would threaten over 26,000 Canadian jobs, Unifor warns

Canadian and Mexican auto parts makers collectively employ nearly one million workers. NAFTA rules currently stipulate that a car can be shipped without duties into Canada, the United States or Mexico if 62.5 per cent of it originates in these countries.
