The 2013 World Standards Day Paper Competition has been announced by U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day Planning Committee and paper competition’s sponsor, SES – The Society for Standards Professionals. Theme for this year's competition, "Standards for a World at Work and Play," reflects many ways that standards function as tool to bolster consistency, repeatability, dependability, and excellence in wide variety of technologies and fields. Papers are due by August 3.
