(Telecompaper) Paraguay will proceed with its long-delayed auction of frequencies in the 4G spectrum as early as next month, reports local daily ABC, citing Teresita Palacios, acting president of the country's communications regulator Conatel. Palacios described the LTE spectrum auction as her priority and said the corresponding bidding documentation would be issued in the first half of July. Conatel aims to auction AWS spectrum in the 1,700 MHz and 2,100 MHz bands.
