Patterson to step down as BT Group CEO later in 2018

(Telecompaper) BT Group announced that Gavin Patterson will step down as CEO later in 2018, with a search to find his successor already launched by the Board. BT Chairman Jan du Plessis said the Board was fully supportive of the recent strategy laid by out by Patterson, but said the reaction to recent announcements showed there was need for a change in leadership to deliver this strategy.
