Hold on a minute, before you take a bite of that cookie you may want to check to see if it's been recalled. Over the weekend the John B Sanfilippo & Son is voluntarily recalling the Fisher 8 oz Chopped Walnuts and Fischer 8 oz Pecan Cookie pieces packaged in plastic bags because they believe it could be contaminated with Salmonella.
