Pedestrian killed by train in Coon Rapids

A pedestrian walking on the train tracks was struck and killed by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train Sunday afternoon in Coon Rapids. Police say the person was struck around 11:59 p.m. while walking on the tracks near the 1000 block of Northdale Boulevard NW.
