Pep Boys hires firm for CEO search

Pep Boys Manny, Moe & Jack has engaged Spencer Stuart, a Chicago-based executive search consulting firm, to conduct its search for a replacement CEO to succeed Mike Odell, who resigned Sept. 26. Interim CEO John Sweetwood told financial analysts during Pep Boys' third quarter earnings conference call that the Philadelphia-based tire and auto service chain is "moving diligently to have a new chief executive on board as soon as possible."
