Perrigo, the over-the-counter drug specialist being pursued by Mylan, on Tuesday said it acquired a portfolio of leading over-the-counter brands from GlaxoSmithKline for an undisclosed amount of cash. The brands, with sales of about $110 million last year that are sold primarily in Europe, include nicotine replacement therapy and cold, flu and cold sore medications.
