Pet collar pendant to track eating, exercise

A French company says it is developing a "smart" collar-attached pendant for pets to help people monitor the eating habits and physical activity of their cats and dogs. Canhegat, which is based in a town in southern France, said Dec. 18 that its Canhe-Fit product will measure and analyze an animal's movement to calculate food intake, exercise and energy expenditure.
