Pokey LaFarge has been traveling the U.S. and Europe pretty much constantly for the last six or seven years, but the St. Louis-based singer/songwriter is always aware of his Midwestern roots. He's a long-faced, sad-eyed galoot who looks like he stepped out of a tintype, handsome in a kind of a “Boardwalk Empire” way.
