Police: Man was trying to 'beat' train when killed

Police say a man killed in a train accident Thursday was attempting to 'beat' the train when he was struck. Police haven't released the victim's name yet, but CBS19 has confirmed that Corey Walker was struck and killed by an oncoming northbound Union Pacific train just after 4 a.m. Thursday, near the intersection of North Front and West Bryant Street in Troup.
