Used to determine viscous properties of Newtonian and Non-Newtonian fluids, PDVdi-120 consists of viscometer main body with reusable syringe and falling needle attached to extension bar with 2 markings. Absolute viscosity measurement can be made without instrument calibration, and multiple measurements can be performed with one sample. Conforming to SAE AIR 5704 and ASTM D 5478, instrument has 20–10,000 cP viscosity range (2–106 cP with accessories) with accuracy and repeatability of >2%.
