Consisting of programmable magnetic rotary position sensors with 12-bit analog or PWM output, AS5600 Series from ams measures absolute angle of diametric magnetized on-axis magnet. I2C interface supports user programming of non-volatile parameters without requiring dedicated programmer. By default, output represents range of 0–360°. It is also possible to define smaller range to output by programming zero angle (start position) and maximum angle (stop position).
