Proposed water ordinance for Sturgis Township topic of Tuesday meeting

Representatives from Abbott Laboratories , the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, the St. Joseph County Health Department and Sturgis Township will meet with members of the public Tuesday night to talk about a proposed groundwater ordinance aimed at assuring a contaminated plume of water never taints nearby residential wells.
