Publix opening first stores in Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island

Publix Super Markets Inc. plans to open its first stores in north Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island, S.C. The 49,000-square-foot store in Myrtle Beach is expected to open in late 2014, while the 45,000-square-foot store in Pawleys Island is expected to open in early 2015.
