Publix to open Mint Hill store Wednesday

Publix Super Markets Inc. will open its Mint Hill store at 7 a.m. Wednesday. The 49,000-square-foot store is the first of six locations the Lakeland, Fla.-based grocer plans to open in the Charlotte region this year.
